Theresa (Rud) Szalkay

Theresa Szalkay, of Valis, NC, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born in Wentorf, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Ivan and Genowefa Rud; beloved wife of 50 years of the late Richard Szalkay; mother of Richard J., William M., and the late Melissa Szalkay; grandmother of Alex and Michael.

Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120 on Saturday, July 25, from 2 - 4 PM; a Blessing Service will take place at 2 PM at the funeral home.
