Thomas John Chonko

Thomas J. Chonko, 69, of Whitaker, passed away on January 20, 2025. He was born on August 29,1955 and was predeceased by his parents John and Sophie (Pigora) Chonko and is survived by his cousins. 

Tom, a Navy Veteran, was a vendor for Aramark and worked Pirate and Steeler games for over three decades. He took pride in being self-sufficient and could frequently be seen walking and talking with his neighbors. Tom was a good and kind person and was well-liked by all who knew him.

Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Friday, January 24, from 1-3 PM where a Blessing Service will be held at 3 PM followed by military honors.  Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com.
