Thomas H. Houser

Thomas H. "Hermie" Houser, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Munhall, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the age of 91.  Beloved husband of Marie (Caruso) and the late Ivy (Veirup) Houser.  Son of the late Joseph C. and Twila (Stewart) Houser.  Father of Connie (Stanley) Wasik and Kirsten (Jeff) Forbes.  Step-father of Tony, Tom and Tim Naulty.  Brother of the late Charles, William, Mona Ann, Jane and Josephine.  Grandfather of Elissa Lentz and Jared Wasik.  Step-grandfather of Nicole, Brooke and Dillon Naulty.  Great grandfather of Lysanna and Lavinia Lentz.  Also survived by his nephew Joseph Houser, whom he raised as his own.  Thomas was a former Heating/AC technician at the US Steel Homestead works and a former security guard at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a former member of the American Legion Dravosburg Post 380.  Thomas enjoyed fishing, loved to dance and was forever the joker with his family and friends.  He will be dearly missed.  A Celebration of Hermie's life will take place at a future date.  Arrangements entrusted to Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., Munhall, PA.  Condolences may be left at www.swgfuneralhome.com.
