Timothy I. Miles

Timothy Ian Miles, age 37, of Homestead, was called home on December 9, 2025. We find great comfort in knowing he was welcomed by his mom, Lisa Hildenbrand, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his Pap, Ronnie Hawkinberry; Honeys, Elva Hawkinberry; and his aunts, Michelle Hawkinberry and Cindy Swearingen.

He is survived by his dad, Rick Hildenbrand; loving girlfriend, Dewanna Steamer; beloved siblings, Zachariah (Devan) Hawkinberry and Jentrey (Jim – fiancé) Miles; grandmother, Lois Hildenbrand; and caring aunts and uncles, Rhonda (Matt) Bush, Butch (Norma) Hildenbrand, Jeff Hildenbrand, and Donnie Hildenbrand. He was the fun and caring “Uncle T” to Aethan Miles, Elijah Hawkinberry, Carter Hoyt, and Logyn Morin, as well as many cousins and friends who were like brothers and sisters. He also leaves behind his faithful dog, Titan, who was always by his side.

He was an honored member of The Boilermakers Local #154 and spent many hours with his union brothers and sisters. Tim was a gentle giant, a dear friend, and a truly great man to all who knew him.

Baptized in 2013, he nurtured a strong faith and believed deeply that everything happens for a reason according to God’s greater plan.

Talented and creative, Tim enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, and gaming. He loved a good conversation—especially when it involved a well-spun conspiracy theory—but was also a great listener. On Sundays, you could find him in a throwback jersey watching football. We all know his favorite team was the Steelers!

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 2–4 PM and 6– 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM at the Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. Visitation will continue afterwards.
