Tyrone M. Bonacci

Tyrone Michael “Bonac” Bonacci, age 66 of West Mifflin, passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2026. He was the son of the late Roslyn and Anthony “Chick” Bonacci. Beloved father of Vincent whom he shared with his former wife Janice. Tyrone is survived by his three brothers: Mark (Denise) Bonacci, Dane (Michelle) Bonacci, and Tony (Roberta) Bonacci. Tyrone was in a loving relationship for the past six years with his companion Karen Pihonsky. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will fondly remember him.

Tyrone was a man who found his greatest joy in the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life. He cherished the time spent at his cabin in Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania. There he enjoyed boating, fishing, and the natural beauty of the area. He also spent many peaceful days fishing and boating at neighboring Pymatuning Lake. Whether tending his garden or caring for his pond, Ty had a deep appreciation for nature and took great pride in the life he cultivated around him. He also enjoyed watching Pittsburgh Penguins games.

Tyrone was employed at the Allegheny County Department of Public Works, where was respected for his strong work ethic, dedication, and the ability to bring laughter to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends to be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, 15120 on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 from 2 PM – 8PM. A blessing service will take place the following day on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at St. Elias Cemetery.
