Vasiliki "Koula" Gray was born on October 28, 1939, in Thessaloniki, Greece, to Niko and Malamati Georgiadis. She was the fourth of seven children. In January 1959, she married Prokopis Semoudiaris and immigrated to the United States to begin a new life. Together, they had three beloved children: Nick Semoudiaris, Susan (David) Wasik, and Matoula Semoudiaris.
Koula was blessed with five grandchildren Alena St. Clair, Frances Wasik, Christian (Jessica) Wasik, Gabriel Semoudiaris, and Paul Semoudiaris, and her joy multiplied with the arrival of six great-grandchildren: Aurora Valdrada, Fiona Molly, John Bodhi, Luna, June, and Maxine.
Later in life, Koula met and married the love of her life, William Larry Gray. They shared many wonderful years together until Larry's passing.
She is reunited in heaven with her dear siblings Tasoula Furst, Yiannis Georgiadis, and Elifthria Tsirou. She is lovingly remembered by her surviving siblings Georgia Georgiadou, Panayiotis Georgiadis, and Agni Tsigrili.
Koula was a devoted mother, passionate grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. She was known for her strength, determination, and unwavering loyalty, qualities that made her a cherished friend to those fortunate enough to know her.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of her family forever.
Friends received Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home Inc. 3501 Main St. Munhall, PA, on Monday, June 23rd, from 5 PM - 8 PM where a Funeral Service will be held at 7:30PM.
