Vincent Vargo

Vincent Vargo, of Whitaker, passed away on January 5, 2026, at the age of 86.

He was the beloved husband of 59 years of Helen Louise (Rinko) Vargo; son of the late Joseph and Mary (Ballas) Vargo; brother of the late Joseph Vargo, Margaret Vargo, Paul Vargo, and Virginia Kish; also survived by generations of nieces and nephews.

Vince was a US Navy veteran. He enjoyed working on model airplanes and loved to travel, especially to Greece.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, January 6, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, with a Panachida Service at 7 PM, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Service will be held at the St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Church, Munhall, on Wednesday, January 7, at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, West Mifflin.
