Walter Gene Grimm, of Pittsburgh, formerly of West Homestead, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2020, at the age of 63. Walter proudly served as Deputy Chief of Police for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He was the beloved husband of 42 years to Rose Grimm; devoted father of Christopher (Alyson) Grimm and Megan (Paul Burns) Grimm; brother of Larry Butler, Robin Jakell, and Wesley Grimm; son of the late Walter and Mary Ann Grimm. Private services entrusted to the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. Inurnment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
