Marcella M. (Pokrywka) Dospoy

Of Munhall, passed away on March 9, 2021, at Rosewood of the Ohio Valley, age 96.  Daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Barnet) Pokrywka; beloved wife of the late Robert Dospoy; mother of Roseanne (John) Balint, LuAnn (John) Hixon and Theresa (Brian) Mitchell; sister of Dorothy Kostovny and the late Leo, Frank, Charles, Benny, John, Anthony, Gene, Larry, Josephine, Sr. Christina, Eleanor and Sylvester; grandmother of Lauren Balint, Jonathan (Megan) Balint, Robert “R.J” (Lya) Hixon, Ryan (Camille) Hixon, Craig (Kayla) Hixon and Jessica Mitchell.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 9^th at 12 Noon at St. Therese Church, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank 1 N Linden St, Duquesne, PA 15110 (www.pittsburghfoodbank.org).  The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on YouTube on the Steel Valley Catholic page (www.youtube.com/steelvalleycatholic)
