Maria Kuti, of Munhall, formerly of Hazelwood, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2024 at the age of 84.
She was born on August 27, 1939 in Budapest, Hungary. She was the daughter of the late Sandor and Irene Marton; wife of the late Joseph Kuti; loving mother of Maria (Joe) Seiler, Klara (Chris) Fox, Joseph (Dawn) Kuti, Eva (Rich) Stulc, Eli (Nicki) Kuti, and the late Irene (the late Harold) Cline, and Shawn Kuti; grandmother of 16, including the late Richie Stulc and Shawn Kuti, Jr.; and great-grandmother of many, with more on the way. She's also survived by the love of her life, her fur baby Daisy; as well as her family in Hungary, including nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Maria enjoyed people, going to the Casino, Bingo, and sitting out in her front yard feeding animals. She was best known for her stuffed cabbage, stuffing, and chicken paprikash. Her family wishes to thank the nurses at St. Clair Hospital, as well as her caretaker to the end, her daughter, Eva.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 27, 2-7 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120, where a Blessing Service will take place on Thursday, March 28, 10 AM. Interment to follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
