In 1965, the original St. Therese Church on Main Street was dismantled.  On that hallowed ground we erected our funeral home to serve the people of St.Therese and our community. We have Faithfully continued that service over the last 46 years and are honored to occupy this sacred location. Our goal is to create a loving and lasting memorial for your loved one, including a Memory Portrait of your loved one and a Memorial Candle. Funeral Director, Wayne Collins takes the Ice Bucket Challenge

I had a little stress relief gathering with my co-worker from Savolskis - Wasik - Glenn Funeral Home last night at my home, at which time I took the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS. Anyone who knows me, knows that I do not do cold water, ever! It went better than expected. We took up a collection and will be donating the proceeds to a special cause that is near and dear to our hearts that benefits Fr. Dennis Colomarino, pastor of Christ the Light of the World Parish in Duquesne who is suffering from this dreaded disease. Now here is the challenge. I challenge all the other funeral homes in the area to do the same. In fact, I challenge every funeral home across the state of Pennsylvania to do the same.
