Wayne T. Capp

Wayne T. Capp, 76 years of age, of Munhall, formerly of Homestead, PA, on April 13, 2024, passed into eternity after a lengthy illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved son of the late Harry D., Jr., and Helen R. (Sabolcik) Capp; brother of Sandra Capp-Mihalek of Pittsburgh, PA; and uncle of Thomas J. "TJ" Mihalek of Munhall, PA; predeceased brother, Allen J. "Al" Capp; brother-in-law of Debbie Capp; nephew, Ryan M. Capp and niece, Ashley M. Capp of Orlando, FL. Wayne attended St. Mary Magdalene Elementary School class 1962; graduate of Homestead Junior/Senior High School class 1966; and graduate of Steel Valley Area Vocational School class 1966 in West Mifflin, PA. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed at Westinghouse Nuclear Atomic Plant, West Mifflin, PA where he was an electrical engineer team leader for 40+ years. Wayne was a champion bowler with many trophies along with awards. Avid fisherman. Enthusiastic Pittsburgh Sports Fan particularly Ice Hockey with T. J. Mihalek, his Godchild. Member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, Pittsburgh, PA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 3-8 PM, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 10 AM, at the St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall. Interment in family plot at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 718 Hazelwood Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 where a military funeral ceremony will take place at gravesite.
