Eugene Fenner Sr.

Of Munhall, formerly of Whitaker and Penn Hills, on November 29, 2019, age 67.  Beloved husband and best friend of over 49 years of Leslie Marie Michailowitsch (Mich); beloved son of the late John Edward and Margaret Ann (Mikula) Fenner; loving and caring father of Amy Jo (Joseph) Serrao, Holly Ann (Ricky McDonough) Fenner and the late Eugene “Buzzy” (Andrea Kalbaugh, survives) Fenner Jr.; grandfather of Joseph III (Megan), Kirkland and Somer Serrao, Jeremy and Alaina Kalbaugh, Dilon Fenner-Kalbaugh, Giblet, Chicklet, Dasher, Loki and the late Ezekiel R. Fenner and Cha Cha; brother of John (Carol) Fenner and the late Robert (MaryAnn, survives) Fenner; brother in law of Iwan (Joanne) Mich and William (Gail) Mich; best buddy of 14 years of Lily his westie who passed away June 29, 2019; also survived by his overwhelming numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Eugene had a big heart and loved helping people.  He always loved walking Lily and knew the neighbors by their dog’s names.  He loved remodeling and building things especially with his late son, Buzzy.  The home improvements they did were numerous and precisely done.  He was a perfectionist.  After graduating from West Miffin North High School in 1970, Gene went to work at US Steel Carrie Furnace Division until they closed.  He then went on to Churchill Academy, Viviano Macorni Co. and retired from Duquesene University.  He will be missed by everyone who knew him.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM where a Blessing Service will be held at 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  Interment will be private.
