COVID-19 Policy Updates and Announcements

We at the Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., are committed to serving your family to the best of our abilities during this unprecedented time in our community. We are closely monitoring information as it is released about the spread of COVID-19 within our area and are taking precautions to reduce potential exposure within our community. Due to the recent announcements from President Donald Trump, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), PA Governor Tom Wolf, the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association (PFDA), and the Diocese of Pittsburgh, we will be using our best judgement on how to safely proceed should our services be needed.

We understand this is a difficult time for everyone, but we are dedicated to pursuing the safety of our community, staff, and families, and are enforcing this in concurrence with the most current CDC guidelines, as well as federal, state, and local government mandates.

Our Mission Statement

The staff at Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home Inc., promise to go above and beyond your families expectations to provide compassionate, professional, and personal care to you and your loved ones funeral.  We are honored to be here to guide your family through this time of need.  We are privileged to serve in our community and to provide the highest standards of service.  We strive to ensure that your loved ones funeral is meaningful, personal and affordable.

In 1965, the original St. Therese Church on Main Street was dismantled.  On that hallowed ground we erected our funeral home to serve the people of our community. We have faithfully continued that service over the years and are honored to occupy this sacred location.

Our goal is to create a loving and lasting memorial for your loved one, including a Memory Portrait of your loved one and a Memorial Candle.
