James Lee Campbell

Of Squirrel Hill, on October 7, 2018, age 75.  Jim grew up in Aliquippa, PA, and was the son of the late James W. and Zella (Banks McCaslin) Campbell; beloved husband of 39 years of Margaret M. (McAuley) Campbell; Father of Elizabeth Campbell, Susan Campbell Cross and Anne (Sean) O’Neill; Brother of the late Ardele Thompson; loving Grandpa of Genevieve, Michael, Charlotte, Kayla, Rory, Aidan and Quinn; Great Grandpa of Omar and Elias; Jim was a favorite uncle to his nieces and nephews.  Jim was a retired account manager for AT&T.  His passionate hobbies were reading, birding, photography and genealogy.  He enjoyed stamp and pipe collecting.  Jim was widely known for his keen sense of humor. He enjoyed a quiet walk in the woods with his camera, long road trips and was an eager conversationalist. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to Our Clubhouse of Western PA 2816 Smallman Street Pittsburgh, PA 15122 (ourclubhouse.org) for the support of Pittsburgh cancer patients.  Arrangements entrusted to SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC.
