Paul Kearns

Of West Homestead, on June 27, 2018, age 82.  Born in McKeesport, PA on December 14, 1935 to the late Paul A. and Ethel (Simon) Kearns.  He was predeceased by his stepfather John Durkay.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Frances “Mickey” (O’Toole) Kearns, his step brother, Donald Demchak, step sister Joann Lentz and cousins Sr. Mary Louise Simon RSM and Barbara Shuty.  Mr. Kearns was a graduate of McKeesport High School and The College of Steubenville.  He was a Veteran of the Army during the Korean Conflict.  Paul’s working career included US Steel and The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  He was a PIAA Official in Basketball and Softball for many years and played fast pitch softball for the Lions.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, 10 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Homestead.
