Andrew C. Tichon, Jr.

Andrew C. Tichon, Jr.,  of Brookline,  passed on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the age of 70.  Son of the late Andrew C. and Mary (Dobos) Tichon.  Beloved husband of 35 years of Judy (Cordeschi).  Brother of Constance (late Donald) Eckert of Pleasant Hills, John (Lois) Tichon of Munhall, Eleanor Tichon of Munhall and the late Mary Ann (late Francis) Stack of Shaler.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. Andrew was a veteran of the Air Force serving during the Viet Nam war.  He was also an employee of the Giant Eagle Market District in Bethel Park for 27 years, a 1968 graduate of Munhall High School and a graduate of Point Park College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  Andrew was known by all as friendly, kind and hard working.  He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and a crossword puzzle enthusiast.  Friends received at the Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main St., Munhall on Monday, September 27 from 9 AM until the time of a Blessing Service of 11 AM.  Interment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
