Barbara A. (Beserock) Lynch

Of West Mifflin, passed away at Concordia at Cabot on September 18, 2022 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Henry A. Lynch. Barbara was loving mother of Susan (Zoltan) Palffy, Richard (Karen) Lynch, Lisa (Daniel) Carnovale, and Lori (Jeffrey) Pike; devoted grandmother of Christopher (Liz) Palffy, Carolyn (Alex) Becker, Craig Palffy, Kurt Palffy, Nicholas Carnovale, Nathan Carnovale, Jack Carnovale, Benjamin Carnovale, Kendall Carnovale, Sara Pike, Scott Pike, and Sean Pike; great-grandmother of Christine Palffy, Hannah Becker, and Kayla Becker; daughter of the late George and Anna (Elek) Beserock, Jr.; and loving sister of Geraldine (Beserock) Née and George A. Beserock III. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou (Beserock) Price. Sister-in-law of Shirley Beserock,  Peter Nee, Eleanor (Lynch) Nigro, and Doris Lynch. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and an excellent homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family: nothing could compare to her homemade stuffed cabbage, nut roll, and poppyseed roll. Barbara was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Munhall, very devoted to the faith, warm, friendly, and loving. Barbara enjoyed the many family trips she made to Siesta Key and Disney World. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Catholic Charities, Diocese of Pittsburgh at ccpgh.org.
