Donna Lee (Lipa) Knapp

Of West Mifflin, peacefully on December 4, 2018,  after a battle with cancer with her loving husband at her side, age 73.  Daughter of the late John and Irene (Casko) Lipa; beloved wife of 51 years of Robert Knapp; mother of Lori Knapp and Robb Knapp; sister of Suzanne Koontz; sister in law of Dennis (Shirley) Knapp; dear friend of Dana Gottschalk; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, gardening specializing in growing weeds, reading, the casinos and being outdoors in the summertime because she couldn’t stand the air conditioning.  Services for Donna will be private.  The family wishes to give a special thanks to ANH and Jefferson hospice nurses and staff, especially Dr. Pedro Aguilar.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Animal Rescue League 6926 Hamilton Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15208, in memory of Donna and her faithful companion, Rex.  Arrangements entrusted to SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC.
