Frank L. Dasta, III, of Munhall, passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 3, 2023, at the age of 53.
He was the beloved son of Frank L, Jr., and Sharen (Matik) Dasta; cherished brother of Nannette (Randy) Dasta, Charlene (Corey Keyes) Dasta, and the late Shareen Dasta; loving partner of John Holmes; grandson of the late Frank and Marie Dasta, and the late Michael and Gertrude Matik; nephew of Patricia (Fran), Denise (Rick), and Michele (Nick); also survived by nieces, Hope, Deja, Harley, and Jada; nephews, Tony, Casey, John, Antonio and Gianni; as well as cousins, and friends.
Frankie worked at the Fireplace and Patioplace as an outstanding sales representative for 13 years, and will be dearly missed by his team, especially his manager, Marcie Magniotti. Since 2011, Frankie was known at the Fireplace and Patioplace as the Sales Expert, the "purveyor of Patio and brought the funk to your fireplace." His team and customers loved him; he was so creative, and had a knack for excitement, energizing his clients no matter the scale of their project. He greeted all who walked in with a smile, and the biggest, "Hello, welcome!" He was able to relate to everyone, making people feel like a lifetime friend instantaneously. Frankie made many friendships with customers following an invite to view their final projects. He just made everyone feel special, and was a genuine and fun soul. God blessed many by placing Frankie in the world.
His love of food kept him in the food service business. He enjoyed concerts, traveling, and horseback riding, but Frankie mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and remained family oriented. He loved dogs.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, April 8, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 10, 10 AM, at the St. Therese of Lisieux Church of the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Munhall.
