Georgette June (Granite) Lally

Heaven gained another angel as Georgette “Tootsie” Granite-Lally, of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2021, age 87.  Married for 52 wonderful years, she is preceded in death by the love of her life Edward “A” Lally of West Mifflin.  Georgette was also a woman of great faith who consistently prayed to the Blessed Mother for guidance and inspiration-a mother, who has now called her home. 

She was the loving mother of Rhonda (Joe) Popovich of West Mifflin, Terri (Bill) Link of Somerset and Danae (Tony) Topolnak of West Mifflin.  She was a devoted grandmother to Amber (Kevin) Kocher, Sammy Jo (Matthew) Matyasovsky, Allyson (Jake) Link, Ashley Link, Brittany (Aaron) Schragl and Brianna Topolnak.  Great Grandmother to her precious Brody, Bridget, Maura, Waverly, Brynn and Alyce. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents George and Alice Granite, her brothers John, Thomas, Francis, Raymond and Michael and her sister Dorothy.  Prior to retirement, she was employed as a bookkeeper for Mesta Machine Shop and as a model for the Ford Modeling Agency in New York City.

At Georgette's request, there will be no viewing. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 18^th at 10 AM at St. Therese Church, St. Thomas the Apostle Parish.  EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Interment to follow at St. John Cemetery, Munhall.  Arrangements entrusted to Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home Inc.
