Helen Mondock Olsakovsky, born June 1st, 1938, of West Mifflin, was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her beloved late husband of 62 years, Paul A. Olsakovsky, Sr., on January 12, 2023, at the age of 84.
Helen was a giving, warm and selfless soul who cared deeply for her family and neighbors; always offering a helping hand or warm meal to her loved ones. She found beauty everywhere she went and enjoyed simple pleasures like sitting on her back porch and feeding the birds. Over the years, Helen worked at the Duquesne Golf Club, loved spending quality time with her neighbors and even won multiple trophies from her bowling league. Helen also spent her time cooking, hosting holidays, and practicing her faith as a devoted member of the Roman Catholic Church. Over the course of her lifetime, she showed her family through her actions that kindness and generosity are the building blocks of Goodness in personal character. Her legacy lives on through our small acts of kindness and love.
She is survived by her children, Lisa (Jim) Luteran, Paul A. (Susan) Olsakovsky, Jr., Steven (Judy) Olsakovsky, and Larry (Carolyn) Olsakovsky; grandchildren, Joshua (Kelly) and Benjamin (Jamie Seiss) Luteran, Paul A.
