John R. Kavinsky

John R. Kavinsky, of Whitaker, passed away on June 8, 2020 at the age of 73. He is survived by his niece, Leigh Ann (Kavinsky) Burger of Duncansville, PA; and great-nephews, Lucas H. and Seth H. Burger. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Richard and Mary (Chuckro) Kavinsky; and brother, Richard John Kavinsky. Johns hobbies and lifelong interests were fishing, boating, and spending time at the family camp. He also loved flea markets and was a long-time Lionel and model train enthusiast and dealer. Visitation will be held Monday, June 15, 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM  at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, Pennsylvania 15120. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rita Church, Munhall, on Monday, June 15, at 10 AM. Interment to follow at St. Michael Cemetery, West Mifflin.
