Matt, age 40, passed away tragically and unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 21st, following a fall outside of his newly purchased home. Beloved son of Darryl E. Pingor and the late Wendy (Dudra) Pingor, Matt was raised in Delmont, PA and most recently resided in the Mount Oliver section of Pittsburgh. Left to remember him fondly are his sisters Lindsay (Joel) Fitzpatrick and their children Eliza and Finn of Monroeville and Kara (Anthony Panichella) Pingor of Murrysville. Matt is also survived by his Godparents Chris and Dianne Lacock of West Mifflin and aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to name. Predeceased by his grandparents, Edward and Dolores Pingor and Rudy and Jean Dudra, Matt was the first grandchild on both sides of the family and brought so much love and laughter to all of us. To say he was a bit spoiled as a baby is an understatement! For the last ten years, he was employed as a salesman at Ed’s Woodshed in Bridgeville. In his free time, Matt enjoyed camping with his friends, exploring landmarks throughout Pennsylvania, reading about history, playing the drums, and collecting antique cameras. He was currently in the process of refurbishing and updating his first home, purchased in July. No visitation is planned. A Celebration of Life event will be scheduled at a later date. In remembrance of his big and kind heart, please do a good turn for someone today- Matt would appreciate that! Arrangements entrusted to SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC.
