Robert G. Johnson

Robert G. Johnson of Munhall passed away peacefully on September 10, 2022 at the age of 86. He was the loving husband of 65 years to Elaine (Wytiaz) Johnson. Robert leaves behind a family who loved him dearly. His daughters, Linda (Matthew) Tomsho, Janet Johnson, and Roberta Johnson, as well as his grandchildren, Alexander, Nicholas, and Danica Tomsho. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Walter Johnson and Louise (Sarvey) Johnson.

Robert began his professional life as a Motor Inspector for US Steel. After serving in that role, Robert pursued a lifelong dream and became a professional photographer. Further, Robert was active in his community as a member of the Munhall Garden Club. Throughout his life Robert had an eye for beauty and grace in imagery, in flowers and plants and in his family.

Friends and family will be received on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 10 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Chapel in Hazelwood with an interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
