Stephen A. Miller

Stephen A. Miller, of Whitaker, passed peacefully while surrounded by his family on August 7, 2022, at the age of 61. He was the beloved husband of 30 years of the late Carol (Margo) Miller; loving father of Michael (Brandy) Miller; grandfather of Angela Miller; son of the late Joseph S. and Antoinette (Preisner) Miller; brother of Joseph (Patricia) Miller and Ann (Shawn Joint) Gonzales; brother-in-law of Jan (Jack) Brennan and Joseph Margo; uncle of Joseph (Lynsey) Miller, Thomas Miller, Nicholas Miller, Edward (Lea) Gonzales, and Bethany (Bryan) Gonzales-Kirk; and great-uncle of Mia, Emma, Kanon, Carsyn, and Crew.

Stephen was a retired heavy equipment operator with TMS International at the US Steel Edgar Thompson Plant and a member of the Operating Engineers Local 66. He was a licensed pilot who had a passion for flying, and was a former member and Captain in the Civil Air Patrol.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 14, 2-7 PM at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 15, 10:30 AM, at the Holy Angels Church of the Blessed Trinity Parish, Hays. Stephen will join his wife, Carol, at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh.
