Velma (Grynkewicz) Davies

Velma (Grynkewicz) Davies of West Mifflin passed peacefully on the evening of August 9, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Herbert Davies, and previously of the late Nicholas Culig. Velma will be dearly missed by her loving children; Robert “Jeff” (Tami) Culig and Patricia (Joseph) Miller, and her stepchildren, Michele (Darryl) Romano and Herbert (Audrey) Davies. In her many years, Velma watched as her family grew and she became a proud grandmother of eleven beautiful grandchildren and eight lovely great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her five siblings; the late Edward Grynkewicz, the late Alice Lanowitz, the late Emma Tomko, the late Frances Edukas, and the late Michael Grynkewicz.

Velma lived a rich life surrounded by a growing family and was active in her working years as a secretary at Kopp Glass, as well as being employed by the Riverview Center for Jewish Services

“Grandma Kitty” will be sadly missed by all those who loved her.

Funeral services will be private and entrusted to SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC.
