Virginia M. "Ginny" (Moffat) Lesko

Of Whitaker, on November 13, 2018, age 80.  Daughter of the late Raymond and Nellie Moffat; beloved wife of 59 years of Joseph J. Lesko; loving mother of Denise (Gene) Fawcett, Nanette (Jim) Harrison and Joseph N. (Jennifer) Lesko; sister of Thomas (Jackie) Moffat, James (Jenny) Moffat, Retta (John) Mizak, Ralph Moffat and the late Ruth (late Jim) Hallam; cherished grandmother of Jason (Cindy) Fawcett, Nikkie (Andy) Nigro, Jessie Harrison, Jimmy Harrison and Sarah Lesko; great grandmother of Sloan and Sam Nigro, Allison Kropff, Tayla (Brendan) Kavanaugh, McKenzie Hunt and Demi (Edwin) Nelson; also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Ginny was a nurturing mother and grandmother and was an avid golfer and bowler achieving 3 hole in ones and bowled a 256 game.  She assisted her husband Joe in the family business, Lesko Plumbing and Heating.  Ginny was known as “Wonder Woman” by her family, winning every battle she fought.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 10 AM at St. Rita Church, Munhall.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
