Barbara A. Mayor

Of Munhall, went home peacefully to be with our Lord on Sunday morning, October 2, 2016.  She spent the day before celebrating her 74^th birthday with all of her family and friends by her side.  Before suffering a stroke a year ago, Barbara was very active with many local churches on a daily basis.  She retired from her beloved nursing career of over 40 years in 2004 and was a very compassionate and caring person who will be missed greatly.  Barbara would often give us her “word of the day” and recently some were “Wonderful, Blessings and Peace”…  She is survived by her dear sister, Marguerite Ednie (Jack) and her two nephews, John (Christina) and Allen (Yumi) whom she cherished so greatly.  She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret (Koscik) and Andrew Paul Mayor.  Friends are being received at SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, 10:00 AM at Resurrection Church, West Mifflin. Interment to follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
