Veronica "Vern" (Chedwick) Hanchulak

Of West Mifflin, died peacefully on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the age of 94.  Beloved wife of the late Nicholas Hanchulak; loving mother of Barbara (Jim) Michaels of Aspinwall, Nick (Joyce) Hanchulak of West Mifflin and the late Sharon Neal; cherished grandmother of Brent (Tara) McNeil, Lindsay (Doug) Kelly, Emma (Bill) Hanchulak and Anna (Patrick) Hanchulak; beloved great grandmother of Skylar Hayden, Kayley Kelly and Nina Kelly; sister of the late Catherine Benson, Lillian Mehlferber, Clara David, Estelle Montooth, Betty Devine, Ted, Robert, Harry and Porky Chedwick; also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, 10:00 AM at the funeral home.  Veronica was affectionately known as “Nanny” to all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she cherished spending time.  The family would like to give a special thank you to all those who supported and cared for Veronica.  In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O Box 515, Northampton, MA 01061-0515.
