My five sisters and I have many fond memories of Uncle Andy. We lived with Baba and Uncle Andy until 1959. Then we moved to the house in front of Uncle Andy’s house. He would stop by on his way home from work and tell us his FuFu bird stories and stories of the time he spent in Germany during WW II. At one time or another, my sisters and I ate sardines with him. He used to love sardine sandwiches. He loved his mother so. If he was going to be delayed getting home from work, he would call and ask one of us to stay with Baba. I can remember calling him to our house to kill a monster spider. He used to tease me about being afraid of spiders and bugs. Uncle Andy was a bachelor but had a wonderful way with children he continued the FuFu bird stories with my nieces & nephews my daughter. John M (my dad) and Uncle Andy and all the Stupar brothers and sisters had a great sense of what family was and should be and that is what they instilled in us.
Uncle Andy thank you for your stores and love.
