I was so saddened to hear of Mr. Hartnett's passing. He was a sweet man who enjoyed spending time helping us with the Giving Garden at St. Therese. For the past couple of years, he joined us on planting day. The children enjoyed his visits and he was a big help to me watering and pulling those pesky weeds. I will miss him waving at us from his front porch. God Bless.

"Happy Dan" will forever be one of my favorite people. He was so warm and kind and generous and Catholic and well, happy! And just the proudest father with story after story about his kids. We spent many a Sunday at Deep Creek with him sporting his Captain's hat and taking us boating and teaching me to waterski. I think of him often and will pray for his soul and for peace for those who are left grieving. This world was a better place with him in it and I'm a better person for having known him. God bless.

Uncle Dan was an amazing man. I remember many many summer days spent at his house. Swimming in the pool, playing in the attic, watching the Steelers game on the big screen....SOOO many memories! We will miss you Uncle Dan. See you someday! Give Uncle Bill a big hug from us!!!!!
