I saw this posting for Dr Krak as my mom just passed on June 26th. She was at Savolski's Funeral Home on June 29th. Dr. Krak was my Doctor as a child! He was a very compassionate man that I will never forget. His office was at the corner of Beggs St and Mifflin Rd at the time. I will always remember the black cat clock in his office, with the wagging tail.
Rest in Peace, Dr Krak. I am 53 years old and I have never forgotten you. You were a great Doc!

I said goodby to a truly great man today. Dr Krak was there for me so many times when we were raising our children, I will never forget him. The things he did for us are to numerous to mention. We had great times at the club later on playing gin and golf. God take you and keep Doc. I'm sure you are in heaven with him.

May God bless and keep you. May Gods face shine on you. May God be kind to you and give you peace. Dr. Krak was the most caring, compassionate doctor I've ever met. When my husband lost his job as a steelworker, Dr. Krak never charged us for office visits, only for the inoculations. After 35 years I still remember his kindness.
His modesty, his sincerity , and his love for his children will always stay in my heart.
I am sure God is greeting him with open arms.

My sympathy is extended to the family of this great Doctor and person. My children are now 28 and 24 and I had so much respect and trust in him as their pediatrician. I can remember him coming to his office in the middle of the night when my daughter had a high fever. Truly a caring person. I am so sorry, I pray for his family's peace in this time....

So very sorry to hear of Dr. Krak's passing. Quite simply, this man saved my life when I was an infant and watched over me until I was ready to leave Children's Hospital six weeks later. During this six weeks, I was given my last rights three times. My parents have told me the stories of Dr. Krak keeping me in isolation until I was healthy, and that only he and the nurses were permitted to be in my room. My parents and siblings could only view me from outside the isolation area. My parents told me when they arrived at the hospital many times they would find Dr. Krak sitting in a rocking chair holding me, watching over me. Shortly after being discharged, we moved to the Beaver County area, but my parents saw Dr. Krak five or six years later at a fundraiser, and shared stories and pictures of me. Dr. Krak was so happy to see that I was doing so well, and told my parents that he considered me as one of his miracle patients. I will always consider Dr. Krak as the miracle man that saved my life! God Bless you Dr. Krak!

Remember going Christmas Caroling with St Nicholas Choir. He was so proud of his mushroom soup. He felt that none of us had ever eaten it before. Yes it was good ,but we all have it part of our Christmas Eve dinner. RIP. Dr krak. May your memory be eternal

My brother was one of his first patients - he lived up the street from us in West Mifflin. He was not only a great doctor but a very caring man. When I took my children to him the waiting room was filled as usual. If you were sick you went through the side door. Who could forget the endless supply of suckers? He didn't care if it was 11 at night or even Christmas Eve he would meet me if my child was sick. I could never repay him for all he did for us. I did run into him a few times after he retired and he always asked how my mother was and is the family OK. Doctors like him are very hard to find. My family was proud to know him.

My sympathy to the family. I was blessed as a young mother living away from my family to have Dr. Krak as a pediatrician. He was always there for my children in our times of sickness. One of my favorite memories is going to his office for the first time and seeing memos attached to the walls with band aids. What an amazing man - God speed.

I am sorry to hear about Dr. Krak's passing. My deepest sympathy to the family. He was kind and compassionate and genuinely cared for his patients. He raised a fine family as well. I graduated with Ron & Bob in 1976 who both were very much like their father and showed that same kindness and compassion. God Bless.

Dr. Krak was always my port in a storm when my children were babies/toddlers..no appointments necessary, no BS, he was the best! His diagnosis was honest, his knowledge unsurpassed, and I always felt secure with my family under his care. Dr. Krak was a legend..30 years later, but my daughter and I were talking about him last week, and another mom nearby echoed "Aahh, Dr.Krak! Loved him!" My deepest sympathy to his family.

The world is a better place because of Dr Krak and I feel privilegeed to have known him and worked with him. I used to beg him to hire me as his nurse and he would just laugh at me because he preferred to do it all himself So I was one of the lucky nurses that got to assist him in Homestead ER. In 1970 my son was hit by a car in Maryland and he was 4 then He was critical and Dr Krak said "get him home so I can see him" I did and he followed my son and his injuries for 15 years, Also I will never forget being told to go in the side door when one of my kids had a fever or rash.......that way his waiting room would not be contaminated. He was the best! RIP my friend
