Message from Diana Gray

I came to know Ellie when I was about 10 years old and her father-in-law, Merrill, married my grandmother, Mildred (Minnie). My first impression was how beautiful she was, with the most perfect peaches and cream skin, and how delightful it was to hear her laugh. Over the years I enjoyed times with Ellie and Debbie at a wedding reception and over many lunches. As an older adult now, I felt her pain with the loss of Dave, then Gregg, and with her battle with cancer. I admired her strength and courage, and her love for Debbie who gave up so much to care for her mother. Ellie was an inspiration and will be truly missed.

Rest in Peace Ellie. My heart aches that you are gone but also my heart is rejoicing knowing you are with your husband and son. All your pain is gone now and are at your resting place with our dear lord Jesus. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful friend. I promise to always be there for her. God Bless your soul and rest in peace.
