Norma Jean (Slosarik) O'Toole

On July 17, 2015 at the age of 83, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home, Norma Jean O’Toole left this world to join her beloved late husband, Marty, in the peace of heaven. She leaves behind her six cherished daughters, Kathy (late William Keith) Sabo (Rick Simon), Diane O’Toole (Tom Whetsel), Susan Assi, Barbara O’Toole, Janet Brown, and Patty Mitro (Bob). She was the very proud grandmother, affectionately known as Mim, to Josh (Samantha) and Nick Sabo, Tommy Whetsel, Elizabeth and Kristen Assi, Zachary (Dian) and Jacob Brown, Adam and Alex Mitro, and great-grandmother of Landon Sabo. Born in Saltsburg, PA, Norma was the daughter of the late Steve and Rose Slosarik, and sister of Shirley Walters and the late Steve and Alvin Slosarik. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. Norma will be best known as the proud mother of the six “O’Toole girls,” whom she raised with Marty in their home on Main Street in Munhall. Norma also worked for many years at Aber’s Pharmacy and later in the family business, PCC. Family and friends received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 3501 Main Street, Munhall, on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass, led by Fr. Terry O’Connor, will be held at Holy Angels Church, Hays, on Monday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at the St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery, Munhall.
